What does Compression Release do to a track? Exactly what can you tell with or without? Fast or slow?
Thanks.

Fast Release: A track sounds busier as if the performers are slightly emphasizing everything. Slower releases does the opposite. If you have a track that sounds a bit messy where everything is too frantic sounding, you could simmer or pipe it down by slower release settings.
